Some people had informed me that until El Paso there would be nothing more of civilization and the first day it was like this… mentally I didn't feel like starting it, also knowing that I couldn't have contact with my girlfriend and home front!! ! But still there was some connection here and there and I was able to give my sweetheart a sleeping kiss 🥰 I felt much better because of that and I was able to cycle for one last hour before setting up camp next to the road. Enkele mensen hadden me verwittigd dat er tot El Paso niets meer van beschaving zou zijn en de eerste dag was het ook zo…mentaal zag ik het niet zitten om er aan te beginnen ook wetende dat ik geen contact kon hebben met vriendin en thuisfront!!! Maar toch was er hier en daar wat connectie en kon ik mijn schatje een slaap kusje geven 🥰 ik voelde me daardoor veel beter en heb nog een laatste sessie van een uur kunnen fietsen om dan mijn kamp naast de weg o te slaan. Een trucker die ik aangesproken had bij wegenwerken stopte later en bood een warme trui en water
